Ms. Shaelee
My name is Shaelee Haines. I grew up in Pollock Pines, and moved to South Lake Tahoe after my high school graduation. I love the mountains and spend as much time as I can, hiking, biking, and swimming in Lake Tahoe over summer and snowboarding in the winter. I have three children that are my world, they are 4, 6, and 8. Their zeal for the mundane is forever teaching me to appreciate every moment and to look for the joy in each situation. My youngest at the age of two still attends Madrone Montessori and we have been a Montessori family for the past 6 years. I have always had a passion for children and started volunteering in Sunday school and day camps at the age of 12. I started working in childcare in a day care setting at a gym and have been working with children professionally ever since. It is a pleasure to be part of the Madrone family where support each other on growing self-reliance within ourselves. This concept flows over making role modeling a sense of independence simple. I look forward to this Montessori journey.
