Ms. Beatriz

My name is Beatriz, I was born and raised in Argentina. I got my art teacher degree from
The Academy of Fine Art in Cordoba, Argentina. My first work in education was as an
Art Teacher at various elementary schools. Then, I worked in special education for
five years. After moving to the United States, I worked as a Spanish instructor at different
after school programs and as an Art Teacher at the Youth Art Academy at Folsom Lake
College. After earning my ECE teacher assistant certification at FLC, I got a job at
Madrone. Working in a Montessori environment for the first time, I felt the necessity to
learn more about Maria Montessori’s Philosophy. Thus, I decided to pursue a Montessori
Teacher certification at Montessori Training Center. Working at Madrone as a Spanish
instructor, has been a fun adventure in my life. I love working in such a peaceful,
organized, and loving environment. Everyday, I see children thriving, becoming
independent, kind, and developing the love of learning unlike any other place I have
worked before. Furthermore, I believe that by working at Madrone, I have grown
intellectually and spiritually.
In my personal life, I like to spend quality time with my family and friends. I enjoy
cooking and sharing my food with people I love. It is a pleasure for me to see them
enjoying a warm piece of pie. I’m a dreamer who makes most dreams become real. Today,
I’m writing and illustrating my first children’s book. I am also planning a long walk
through Spain at El Camino de Santiago.
